2 weeks to Liverpool Spring Crop!

I've been busy doing projects these past few days. Some of them are dual purpose. Like this next one:

I will be using this as a Class for Liverpool and then donating it to the Greenfield Elementary School Annual Fun Fair Silent Auction. If you're interested in doing this class at the crop it's $10. Just let me know :)
This next one is a little different, but same colour theme:

This has already been donated to an auction to raise money for Operation Smile. Now I need to get onto making  some other things. I have a lot to do/make in the next 3 weeks. Oh well, I work well under pressure!

It's only 2 weeks and 2 days until the my first crop of 2013! If you haven't already signed up, and want to let me know, there is still room for more! I would like to have payment sent to me asap for those that have signed up. It's $10 for Friday, $25 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. It is $10 for lunch on Saturday, I need to know before the 16th if you plan to have lunch. It's "make your own" sandwiches.
Remember Kristy will be there with lots of goodies to purchase from scrapbooking café online.
Here is the mini album being offered as a class on Saturday afternoon. The cost is $15 and can be paid at the crop, but please let me know if you want to make it so kits can be made in advance. There will be other classes posted in the next few days so keep checking back!

Welcome to the first Blog Hop of 2013. Our January Hop is featuring a “Consultants Choice”, so each consultant has a unique project to share with you. I hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

I was very close to not getting in on this hop with all the "stuff" that's going on right now, but rather than stressing over coming up with a new project, I chose to show you one I made way back when I first started to sell CTMH. This is from 2007 and unfortunately uses retired paper and stamp set, but could be easily adapted with new fresh papers and stamps :)

The base is a just a plain file folder. The paper is called Majestic Blue and as I mentioned above it is retired. I used a chipboard "B" and the coluzzle to cut the letters on the front. The card stock is outdoor denim, crystal blue and desert sand. The strip of desert sand on the front is a faux belt. It is kind of hard to see in this picture.

On the inside, each side of the folder is layered in graduated size card stock showcasing my boys throughout a 5 year period.

My boys are now 20 and 15, so I very much like to look back at these photos and remember when they were still my little boys.
You can find general instructions at Splitcoast Stampers.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle at  mycreationswithmichelle.blogspot.ca. If you came from Darla's then you are in the right place!

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Alene's.
If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle S Blog, as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects using some of the designs and paper seen along the way. Join us again in February when we will be featuring a 2 page layout.
